Job Summary

We are seeking an all around experienced construction tradesperson to join our Installation Technician team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using standard hand and power tools.

Experience with roofs and ladders is essential for this role. The ideal candidate is hard-working and dedicated to producing quality work.

Responsibilities :

• Construct wood structures including framing
• Perform minor sheet rock installation and repairs
• Cut openings through roofs and walls.
• Assist to install venting and fixtures related to the pre-fabricated fireplace industry (experience not required)
• Be able to lift 40 pounds
• Refer to manuals as needed
• Ladder and roof safety setup

Qualifications :

• Previous experience in the construction industry.
• General understanding of residential home construction materials
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions from manufacturer's diagrams and manuals
• Ability to identify and solve problems effectively
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Strong understanding of mathematical concepts and measurements
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift objects
• Comfortable working on roofs and with ladders
