Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform routine procedures such as vaccinations, blood draws, and dental cleanings
- Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment plans
- Provide compassionate care to animals in distress

Requirements:
- Proficiency in animal handling and restraint techniques
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and procedures
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Experience with animal catheterization and venipuncture
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Skills:
- Dog training: Ability to train dogs on basic obedience commands and behavior modification techniques.
- Aseptic technique: Knowledge of sterile practices to prevent infection during surgical procedures.
- Kennel: Experience in managing kennel operations, including feeding, exercise, and cleaning.
- Animal catheterization: Proficiency in placing catheters for fluid administration or blood collection.
- Pet care: Understanding of the nutritional, grooming, and exercise needs of various companion animals.
- Animal handling: Skill in safely restraining animals during examinations or procedures.
- Veterinary technician: Proficient in performing veterinary nursing tasks under the supervision of a veterinarian.
- Animal husbandry: Knowledge of proper animal housing, feeding, and environmental enrichment.
- Veterinary: Familiarity with veterinary medicine principles, practices, and ethics.
- Animal restraint: Ability to safely immobilize animals for examination or treatment.
