Our goal at SeaQuest is to ensure guests have a one-of-a-kind experience interacting with animals from all over the world. SeaQuest is looking for a friendly, enthusiastic entertainer to bring some magic to our interactive zoo and aquarium. As an entertainer you will host various shows throughout the day, working directly with the husbandry teams and animals during bird, mammal, and reptile shows. This job description may not be inclusive of all assigned duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the job described. It may be amended at any time at the sole discretion of the employer. If you can do all or any of the talents below, we'd love to have you join our team!Entertainer Responsibilities:
- Mermaid/Face Painting/Ballon Artist/Pirate/Princess/Tinkerbell (all or either).
- Host various animal shows throughout the day.
- Engage the guests on and off stage.
- Memorize various scripts and deliver the SeaQuest experience.
- Assist in events outside the aquarium location.
- Assist and support the Guest Services Team with guest interactions.
- May be required to work with animals.
Entertainer Requirements:- Ability to memorize and deliver lines.
- An optimistic, positive, and cheerful outlook is necessary.
- Must be good at improvisation.
- Must be comfortable with guests taking your picture.
- Ability to up-sell products and services.
Education:- A degree in a related field is preferred but not necessary.
Schedule:- Part-time.
- Weekends.
- Holidays.
