Ambulatory Services Director directs the staff and programs of the ambulatory services department. Oversees, administers, and coordinates all activities and operations of the ambulatory services for the health care facility, including outpatient clinics, outpatient surgery, and urgent care centers. Being an Ambulatory Services Director develops and introduces approved standards and guidelines for ambulatory services and programs. Maintains working relationships with community agencies. Additionally, Ambulatory Services Director ensures non-emergency care clinics operate within budget and in accordance with performance standards. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Ambulatory Services Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.   • BASC Imaging is an independent, outpatient, non-hospital Imaging Center providing Open MRI, CT and Ultrasound services.

    This is a busy "multi task" medical office seeking an experienced professional with good organizational and communication skills, decision making and ability interact well with co-workers, patients and providers of all ages and backgrounds. Must be able to balance work load with accuracy and timeliness.

    Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling and checking in patients, insurance verification/prior authorizations, process patient payments and following up with imaging reports to referring providers. If you possess patient billing, medical coding and patient collections, you have potential to earn a higher salary.

    Candidate must have High School Diploma. If clinical experience such as Medical Assistant or X-ray and looking to gain hands on experience, you should apply.

    Must have computer software skills such as Word and Outlook. Will train on all other software systems. Bi-lingual a plus but not necessary.

    Will accept professional with no experience but with the right attitude and willingness to adapt to any circumstance presented.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $20.00 per hour
