As we transition our IT Service Management platform from Cherwell to ServiceNow, this position will develop and deploy custom applications and enhancements within the ServiceNow platform using the App Engine toolset.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in ServiceNow application development coupled with the ability to understand business requirements and develop solutions that improve operational efficiency.
Responsibilities include -Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for new ServiceNow applications and enhancements -Design, develop, test and implement custom applications and components using ServiceNow App Engine -Leverage ServiceNow development tools like Studio, Script Debugger, Application Navigator -Write efficient client-side and server-side scripts using ServiceNow's scripting languages -Build data models, business rules, client scripts, UI policies and other application elements -Integrate ServiceNow with other systems/databases via web services, import sets etc. -Ensure application security, performance and maintainability -Create technical documentation for deployed applications
