Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces. Employe needs to be able to pass background check to obtain DBIDS to work inside a base.
Duties:
- Prepare surfaces by scraping, sanding, and filling holes or cracks
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or sprayers
- Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect surrounding areas
- Remove fixtures and furniture as needed before painting
- Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
- ability to use extension ladders
- Proven experience as a Painter in the construction industry
- Ability to use hand tools and operate painting equipment
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
