Aircraft Painter applies pre-mixed and blended paint or coating to interior and exterior of assembled aircraft or parts. Prepares surfaces for painting and protects painted surfaces from erosion. Being an Aircraft Painter requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Aircraft Painter may require 0-1 year of general work experience. GENERAL DESCRIPTION |
The general purpose of this position is to apply solvent based paints to the exterior of pipes. Must ensure that all company guidelines are met and that all safety rules are followed when performing duties. In addition, must be able to read and interpret work orders in compliance with customer specifications. |
