Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. What you will do :
As a Maintenance Supervisor , you will report to the Maintenance Manager and be a crucial part of the Facilities Management team.
This role is based on-site at our production facility, where you will ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of all production and facility equipment.
How you will do it :
Ensure optimal operation of plant equipment and systems to achieve production goals and maintain product quality.
Uphold Clarios’ quality and standards, leading by example and enforcing policies.
Conduct safe and compliant maintenance activities, adhering to industry safety norms and regulations.
Monitor and report on maintenance progress, taking corrective action as necessary.
Lead the maintenance team with clear direction and support, fostering a cohesive work environment.
Drive continuous improvement through proactive business process enhancements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless system operations across the plant.
Perform regular performance evaluations and manage discipline for direct reports when needed.
What we look for : Required :
Required :
High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
At least 2 years of experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing setting.
Strong proficiency in CMMS solutions like Maximo 7.6, SAP Maintenance & Prisma.
Preferred :
Experience with PLC troubleshooting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills with a track record of motivating team members.
