Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Member to join our team. As a Maintenance Member, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations and ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of our facilities. This is a key leadership role that requires strong technical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage a team.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure the safe and efficient operation of equipment and facilities
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule preventive maintenance, and manage inventory
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including logic controllers, high voltage equipment, and other specialized machinery
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and address them in a timely manner
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or services
- Oversee the fabrication and installation of new equipment or systems as needed
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, materials used, and costs incurred
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team
Experience:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within facilities management or a related field
- Strong mechanical knowledge and proficiency in reading schematics
- Familiarity with high voltage systems and safety protocols
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose complex issues
- Ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in using CMMS software for work order management
