Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises the maintenance operations of aircraft airframes and engines to ensure safe and reliable performance. Oversees routine servicing and preventative maintenance to optimize the lifetime of aircraft airframe and engine components according to internal procedures, guidelines, and technical handbooks. Being an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor evaluates technical requirements to determine the tradeoffs between the repair versus the replacement of components and the effect on cost and safety. Implements policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all federal aviation regulations, standards, and specifications. Additionally, Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor informs and trains aircraft mechanics on current information from manufacturers and regulatory bodies. Coordinates and schedules inspections and follow-up tasks to ensure timely completion. Requires a high school diploma. Requires FAA Airframe (A) and Powerplant (P) Mechanic License. Typically reports to a manager. The Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor.     The ideal candidate is an experienced custodial and facilities manager with experience in medical facilities. They have demonstrated strong leadership, prioritization, and emergency handling skills.     Duties:

    Direct and oversee custodial staff to maintain facility cleanliness and upkeep

    Execute industrial cleaning tasks with precision, including mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting

    Ensure continual cleanliness and presentation of all facility areas according to set standards

    Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to optimize operations

    Conduct thorough training sessions for new custodial staff, emphasizing proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols

    Coordinate with other departments to schedule cleaning and maintenance tasks

    Address custodial emergencies promptly and efficiently

    Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs

    Operate buffing machines to maintain the appearance of floors

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a custodial or facilities maintenance role preferred but not required

    Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation

    Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks efficiently

    Excellent organizational and time management skills

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    Excellent communication skills

    2 years of supervisory experience

    Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks, including lifting heavy objects if necessary

    Strong computer skills, preferred experience with tablets
