We are seeking to fill the position of Aircraft Paint Shop Supervisor to lead our team @ our newest location in Mesa, AZ.
Job Description:
Under the guidance of Senior Management, the Aircraft Paint Shop Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day production processes of this complete strip and paint facility, ensuring quality workmanship, adherence to safety regulations, and efficient workflow. The ideal candidate must be someone with excellent leadership skills, and a dedication to delivering superior results.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day processes of the aircraft paint shop, adhering to production
schedule & driving workflow management.
- Oversee a team of painters/technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance
feedback. (Crew size at this location 5-7)
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in aircraft painting.
- Follow and implement provided standard operating procedures (SOPs) for aircraft painting
processes.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet project deadlines and customer requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure that finished aircraft meets industry standards and
customer expectations.
- Troubleshoot issues and resolve any problems that arise during the painting process.
Qualifications:
-Senior level paint and layout experience. 5 years of experience, preferred.
-Quality driven with superior attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in paint mixing and other aircraft painting equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
