Aircraft Electrician jobs in Mandan, ND
Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. What you’ll do :
- Perform installation and preventative maintenance on generators.
- Diagnostics and repairs of mechanical and electrical systems on generators.
- Involved in installation hook-up of home standby generators and clean energy products.
What you’ll bring :
- Excellent customer service.
- Experience or ability to learn :
- Small engine reps.
- Electrical knowledge & experience which complies with the requirements of the AHJ.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. frequently.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Service electrical work.
- Commercial and Residential electrical work.
