Aircraft Electrician jobs in Laramie, WY

Aircraft Electrician performs preventative and non-routine maintenance and inspections of aircraft avionics and electrical systems. Uses manufacturer's reference documents, diagrams, and best practices to troubleshoot problems, identify the correct solutions and replace or repair components and parts. Being an Aircraft Electrician conducts quality testing, verification procedures, and required documentation of all completed work. Ensures compliance with all FAA maintenance regulations and requirements. Additionally, Aircraft Electrician typically requires an associate degree in aviation electronics, avionics or equivalent. Requires Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Aircraft Electrician works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job.     What You Will Do:

    While continuing to hone your craft, you will

    • Build your own skills by training apprentices to be the best in the business
    • Work on a wide range of projects like data centers, water processing plants, casinos, resi-mercial high rises, pharmaceutical plants, and many others
    • Maintain a constant focus on safety and enjoy working with the best equipment in the industry while you lay out and organize tasks for apprentices, use formulas to determine pipe fill, device and panel size, plan and handle materials required for the job, and many other tasks
    • Demonstrate and embrace our company values, our PACT:  People, Advance Process, Community, and Trusting Relationships

     

    What You Will Bring:

    • Possess a current Wyoming or Colorado State electrical journeyman license
    • Have a minimum of 4 years documented field work or completion of a 4-year electrical apprentice program
    • Have an excellent understanding of the electrical industry

    • Be highly curious and motivated to continue your education and professional development
    • Be willing to travel to a variety of job sites within a 50-mile radius
