Duties and Responsibilities
The ASR conducts training (including classroom academics and hands-on demonstration) of IA maintenance personnel with focus on the skills of a U.S. Army 15G AH-64E repair/replace aircraft structural components according to drawings, blueprints, directives, technical manuals and safety procedures. In addition, advises IA unit maintainers in AH-64E techniques and procedures in fabricating parts using metal forming techniques and fiber glass materials, repairing plastic window enclosures, applying primers/paints on aircraft surfaces, and maintaining facilities for storage of hazardous materials.
Minimum Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be previously qualified as a school trained U.S. Army 15G Aircraft Structural Repairer.
- Experience to perform structural maintenance on the AH64D/E is highly desirable.
- Must have at least five (5) years’ experience conducting and supervising US Army Aviation maintenance
programs.
- Must have experience as a Structural Repair Section Supervisor, sheet metal forming, Fiberglass and
composite experience, primer/painting of aircraft surfaces, maintaining/managing flammable/hazardous
material storage.
- Highly desired: AH-64Ev6 previous maintenance experience
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
