Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication management
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry, vacuuming, and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist with transportation
- Engage in meaningful conversation and provide emotional support
- Monitor and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided
Experience:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
