    Job Details:

    We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Permanent Agricultural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agriculture, animal science, and farming, and will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions to improve agricultural systems and practices. This position will involve working closely with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural professionals to optimize crop yields, improve animal breeding techniques, and increase the overall efficiency and sustainability of agricultural operations.

    Responsibilities:

    As an Agricultural Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

    1. Designing, developing, and testing agricultural machinery, equipment, and structures.
    2. Providing consultation and advice to farmers and ranchers on the application of new technologies and techniques in farming and animal breeding.
    3. Conducting research to improve the efficiency and sustainability of agricultural production systems.
    4. Working closely with other professionals in the agricultural industry to develop and implement innovative solutions to agricultural problems.
    5. Developing and implementing farm safety and waste management programs.
    6. Planning and supervising the construction of rural electric power distribution systems and irrigation, drainage, and flood control systems.
    7. Preparing and presenting technical reports, meet project deadlines, and provide updates on project status.
    8. Adhering to all relevant safety and quality standards in the design and implementation of agricultural systems and practices.

    Qualifications:

    To qualify for this position, you must have:

    1. A Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Animal Science, or a related field. A Master's degree or higher is highly desirable.
    2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in agricultural engineering, farming, ranching, or a related field.
    3. Strong knowledge of farming systems, animal breeding techniques, and agricultural machinery and equipment.
    4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex agricultural problems.
    5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with farmers, ranchers, and other agricultural professionals.
    6. Proficiency in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant engineering tools.
    7. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various farm and ranch locations as needed.
    8. Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one within a specified timeframe is a plus.
