Agricultural Inspector jobs in New Mexico

We are looking for applicants to be available primarily on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Full Time Hours available

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our Trimming team is responsible for cutting the branches and cleaning up the flowers. You must possess the ability to listen well and follow directions fully. Our Trim Team will assist with the activities and operations of the production room and other areas of cultivation, while abiding by the policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for cutting down the plants in either the Cold Frames or Greenhouses
• Cutting lateral branches from the main stalk
• Placing cut lateral branched into bins for hanging
• Pull off or cut off extra water leaves during the deleaf process
• Placing wet lateral branches in the Cold Rooms (Cure Rooms) on the drying racks
• Help with clean up and break down of Harvest which includes cleaning pots, trellising, plant material, and general areas of use.

SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES:

• Basic knowledge of how to harvest cannabis
• Fun attitude and strong work ethic
• Strong attention to detail and a team-player
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations
• Know how to use Google Sheets
• Be able to stand/sit for 8 hours

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent minimum
• 1 or more years of Trimming preferred
• Must be on time and ready to work
• Must be able to pass a national background check and obtain a Food Handlers Certificate

REQUIREMENTS:

• Reliable Transportation
• Cannabis knowledge is preferred but not required

This is a labor intensive position that requires applicants to adapt and follow instructions.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 42 per week
