Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Aerospace Engineer work is closely managed.     Job Requirements:


    Responsibilities (just some of them)


    • Identify key customer relationships and continuously develop relationship depth and breadth across customers through the creation of a comprehensive relationship map to ensure all key stakeholders, including Engineering, Program Management, Procurement and other key influencers and gatekeepers, are identified and connected.
    • Leverage relationships to gather general and hard-to-get voice of the customer (VOC) covering current and future needs, objective assessments of our performance and key commercial information such as competitor pricing, budget levels etc. OC towards determining initial qualification.
    • Develop and implement strategies to avoid Customer Churn for each account.
    • Increase upsells, grow revenue per account, close higher margin services/products and increase deal sizes.
    • Foster a comprehensive understanding of our value to ensure willingness to pay (often above competitor rates).
    • Get referrals to adjacent accounts and partner with the account business.

    Desired Skills (just some of them)


    • Masters with emphasis in business, marketing, sales, and customer relationships or related curriculum.
    • 5 years of product development, customer support, marketing, sales or related experience.
    • A propensity for relationship building and doing it quickly.
    • Strong empathic understanding skills.
    • Knowledge of the Aerospace industry is highly desirable but not required.
    • Willing and able to do significant travel across the North America.
