Aerospace Engineer researches and develops structural engineering specifications for aerospace products, parts, or associated operations to improve the efficiency and reliability of aerospace systems. Analyzes results of stress tests on various craft and missile parts to determine material durability and tolerances. Being an Aerospace Engineer oversees flight tests of prototypes and analyzes resulting data to validate flight characteristics and identify necessary improvements. Conducts calculations and utilizes simulations to evaluate aerodynamics, structural integrity, propulsion efficiency, and the effect on fuel consumption of new or existing materials. Additionally, Aerospace Engineer utilizes CAE, 3-D, and digital modeling to create detailed plans and specifications to support production. Assists quality assurance and purchasing teams with the evaluation of new or existing suppliers, products and materials, or technologies. Understands and complies with all federal regulatory requirements and specifications. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Aerospace Engineer work is closely managed.     Description: Our manufacturing client is currently seeking a Quality Engineer with experience in Aerospace manufacturing. The Quality Engineer will perform quality tasks and functions associated with all manufacturing processes to ensure that all products and quality procedures comply with all quality standards for aerospace component manufacturing using non-traditional machining methods. May work with customer engineering and quality assurance personnel to establish verification models, systems and testing procedures to ensure processes and parts meet all conformance criteria.

    Company is in a strong rebuilding phase, and currently expanding headcount due to GE Aviation orders increasing. They have also diversified into other markets and they currently are going strong. Relocation assistance is offered. The Quality engineer creates the plan and monitors it. They will create the plan, inspect the parts, From beginning to end. they are sent blueprints and they complete the work.

    This job will have the following responsibilities:
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Familiar with using CMMs and other precision measuring tools.
    • Have exceptional decision making skills. .
    • Have a passion and keen eye for detail work.
    • Have excellent problem solving skills.
    • Have very strong knowledge regarding government quality standards
    • Be an excellent oral communicator and have excellent writing abilities.
    • Great interpersonal skills and a team player.
    • Computer literate with quality systems and engineering data processing software.

    Qualifications & Requirements:
    • Must have Bachelor's degree in engineering
    • Must have at least two years' experience in quality for an aerospace manufacturer.
    • Automotive experience will not translate to Aerospace. Main Customers include GE Aviation, Rolls Royce, Siemens Land Based turbines, Pratt and Whitney.
