Advertising Manager jobs in Illinois

JET Advertising is looking for a forward-thinking social media manager who can help our clients excel in their social media efforts. You must be able to maximize the results of our clients social media efforts while staying within their planned budgets.

An interest in and an understanding of advertising, innovative marketing and the digital space is a must. You will need to have extensive experience with all social platforms and the ability to interpret and report on social metrics. Finally, you should have a proven track record of exceptional client service and social media campaign coordination.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage social media channels for multiple clients
• Create monthly plan / content calendar, research and write content for posts and ads
• Work with creative department to develop images for posts and ads
• Posting to social media channels, schedule ads and boost posts
• Set target audience based on demographics and interests
• Monitor channels, listen and respond
• Adjust content and target audience based on performance / analytics
• Analyze metrics and prepare monthly reports
• Write blogs integrating keywords for SEO
• Write content for landing pages from social efforts
• Additional copywriting, copyediting and proofing of other client projects

Requirements:

• Caring about your work and the success of the companies we work with
• A high level of integrity
• 2 years social media management experience
• Knowledge of major social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, and paid social advertising options
• Related agency experience or education in advertising / marketing
• 4 year bachelors degree in related field
• Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Sprout Social or similar social media management system
• Self starter with strong organizational and time management skills

Additional desired skills

• Creative writing
• Proficient in a Mac environment
• Experience with retargeting and display ads a plus
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
