Our daily newspaper serves a wide area including Columbia County, Montour County, and Luzerne County. This includes the municipalities of Bloomsburg, Danville, Berwick, Benton, Millville, Catawissa, and Elysburg.

Our Commercial Printing Division provides SNAP certified Cold Web and Heat Set offset printing services. We print millions of retail inserts, advertising supplements, weekly/monthly newspaper format products and many other printed publications every week.

Advertising Sales Specialist 

We are the #1 local media company looking for highly motivated individuals to join our Advertising team. This role requires a sales and marketing minded individual who is looking for an exciting opportunity to connect local business owners and organizations with marketing strategies that include any combination of print and digital advertising, contests, and promotions.

You'll manage a territory of established clients, plus develop new business relationships within your own geographic territory. 

Responsibilities:

• B2B advertising sales.
• Develop strategies to meet and exceed monthly goals and grow advertising revenue in all company advertising products.
  • Develop, design, and implement marketing sales strategies revenue, traffic, and brand awareness for businesses in the Bloomsburg surrounding communities. 
• Prospecting, appointment setting, and conducting advertising presentations.
• Actively researching and attending local events to represent Press Enterprise visibility in the community.
• Develop and demonstrate complete knowledge of all the company's print, digital and specialty products.
• Develop and demonstrate familiarity within assigned territory.
• Project a professional, positive and enthusiastic image during the performance of duties.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Experience: 3-5 years business development through B2B sales experience.

Preferred Education: Bachelors degree in Business related majors.

Required Skills: Effective oral and written communication skills.

• Customer service skills.
• Interest in community involvement.  
• Strong Interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to develop and execute a sales plan.
• Valid, clean Pennsylvania driver's license.
• Confidentiality policies.
