Job Descripton:
Responsible for teaching Adult Basic Education classes using instructional methods designed for the adult learner.
Understand how to use TABE assessment tests.
Make learning student-centered and relevant to planning and accomplishing their goals.
Prepare lesson plans and have them available.
Responsible for teaching the High School Equivalence areas of: writing, reading, social studies, science and math.
Complete and maintain student enrollment, attendance and other student records.
Be proficient in the use of technology that will help enhance classroom instruction.
Hold a valid Oklahoma teacher's certificate.
