Driver and Assistant Job at Adult Day Care

Salary: $39,000 per year

• Provide transportation for clients between their homes, day center, medical appointments, excursions, and other destinations.
• Assist clients to safely board and exit vehicles at all locations
• Lift and transfer clients and goods with care when needed
• Maintain vehicle and make sure vehicle is clean
• Assist in monitoring clients and help facilitate activities and meals
• Assist clients with daily living care and bathroom assistance
• Other duties as assigned

Qualified candidates will possess

• High school diploma or its equivalent and 18 years of age
• Prior van driving experience preferred
• Minimum one year experience in transporting older adults or individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities, preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• A sense of duty, responsibility and care
