Position Summary
We are hiring an Undergraduate Admissions Representative to join our Undergraduate Admissions team. This position is responsible for managing a territory and recruiting students throughout the admissions process. This includes traveling to college fairs, high school visits, and regional presentations to build leads. The Representative should maintain contact with students and families throughout the application and admission process. This includes actively calling and messaging to gauge interest and assist in enrolling prospective students. Representatives must maintain a connection with other constituents in the assigned territory, including High School Counselors, and current UNO parents. Representatives will develop public presentations designed to promote the institution. Presentations may range in size from a single student to a large audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Corresponds with students. Follows up with visitors/applicants as well as answering phone and e-mail communications. Works directly with families to assist in all aspects of the admissions process and ultimately assist with enrollment.
- Meets with prospective students on campus. Give individualized appointments to students and families.
- Give individual and group presentations.
- Serves as a representative at campus visit days throughout the calendar year. Help to plan some aspects of the visit programs.
- Travel to meet with students in an assigned territory. This includes college fairs, high school visits, and regional receptions. Also, maintain relationships with high school counselors, alumni, and UNO parents in that territory
