Admissions Representative - Higher Ed. jobs in Council Bluffs, IA

What will an Admissions Representative do every day?  

• Enter and verify all new resident information
• Complete routine intake follow up for timely processing
• Assist third party billing with rejections as needed
• Assist with hospice queue as needed
• Assist conversion team with entering and verifying patients in newly converted facilities
• Ensure that all billing information for every resident in system is accurate to maximize efficiencies in reimbursement
• Communicate with facilities to assess patient’s status in the admissions process
• Collaborate with other facility medical personnel to ensure appropriate recommendations and admissions
• Process routine daily reports
• Able to meet productivity requirements as outlined by supervisor

Admissions Representative requirements will include:

•  High School Diploma, or equivalent 
• 1-year word processing and/or data entry experience required
• 1-year customer service experience required
• Strong written and oral communication skills required
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required  
• Must be able to actively contribute to a positive team environment
• Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, remain focused, and work independently
• Must be detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Only an individual who is reliable and have a solid work history will be seriously considered for the position.  A completed pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted.

This hourly position is Monday thru Friday, eight hour shifts falling between the hours of 8am and 6:30pm with rotating weekend shifts. Flexibility is a must.
