The Youth Admissions Coordinator will be responsible to coordinate the social services for King's Home programs. Duties include: coordinate with the Executive Director of Youth Program to review, approve appropriate youth for admissions according to intake and referral process, develop a resource file in order to give referring agency suggestions on appropriate placement, complete intake evaluations with all new admissions including assisting with trauma screening and trauma assessments as needed, complete documentation for intake evaluations within 7 days, and assist with new employee training and other employee clinical training as needed, complete discharge reports, and serve as contact/liaision with outside social services agencies. Attend DHR fairs and provide information presentations to DHR, attend and provide input for treatment/discharge planning at meetings. Adhere to all Medicaid, Alabama DHR and Council on Accreditation Standards.
