Administrative Services Supervisor supervises the daily operation of one or more support services for an organization, including clerical services, office space, equipment and supplies, vendor management and other support services. Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness of assigned operations. Being an Administrative Services Supervisor ensures compliance with established corporate standards and may be responsible for reviewing and evaluating the work and performance of subordinates. May require an associate degree. Additionally, Administrative Services Supervisor typically reports to a manager. The Administrative Services Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Makes day-to-day decisions within or for a group/small department. Has some authority for personnel actions. Thorough knowledge of department processes.     Position Summary:

    This role will ensure the efficient day-to-day operations of the office. This role will support the work of management and other staff.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Greeting visitors and answering all inbound calls in a courteous and professional manner. To Include backing up of Dispatchers incoming customer or driver calls.
    • Use of computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software systems to prepare reports, memos, and documents
    • Keying data for the municipal invoicing into Enwis
    • Answering customer questions regarding rates
      • Currently impacting collections as most accounts don’t have any contact info.
      • Must ensure the BP has dimensions & cycle entries or invoices will not generate.
      • Leased cart set up.
      • Yard waste sticker
    • Creating new contracts
    • Entering all data to ensure invoices generate accurately.
    • Modifying contracts
    • Service level increase, decrease.
    • Prorations
    • Entering and completing orders
    • Currently impacting our roll off billing.
    • Canceling/closing accounts
    • This tremendously impacting billing. Customers continue to receive bills that state they canceled last year.

    Education:

    • High School Diploma
    • Post – secondary education in business, computers, or office management is an asset

    Experience and Competencies:

    • 1-3 years of experience in an office environment
    • Experience in the waste industry is a plus
    • Experience with Microsoft Suite is required
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Prompt, professional and dependable demeanor
