MSAD 6 is seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join the support team at our Central Office. This position is non-bargaining, year-round, 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support to the Special Services department by:
The successful candidate will possess a high level of verbal and written communication skills; organizing and planning skills; attention to detail; demonstration of initiative and reliability; the ability to adapt to an ever-changing workplace environment; and the ability to work within a flexible work schedule. A knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures; computers and relevant software applications; customer service principles and practices; and the ability to deal with conflict is required.
Applicants must have a High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Test (HiSET) and three (3) to five (5) years related experience preferred. An Associate’s Degree is preferred. A Maine Department of Education Criminal History Records Check (CHRC) is required.
