Department: Child Care Resource and Referral Program
Reports To: Supervisor
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for a wide range of duties and activities of a general and specialized nature in support of the assigned program area. Performs office and administrative support functions and prepares and edits a wide range of documents and reports. Provides first contact with parents, childcare providers or other professionals through face-to-face greeting or telephone interaction. Other duties include filing, data entry, photocopying, manage outgoing and incoming mail, process childcare payment forms and assist in the ordering and purchasing process. Utilize knowledge of community resources and the CCR&R Resource Directory to offer referrals and valuable resources to clients and providers.
Minimum Requirements: A High School diploma is required. Must have valid driver's license. APS/CPS check and a clear criminal background check with no charges related to child abuse or neglect, domestic violence or drug charges.
Desirable Qualifications: Associatedegree in Office Administration. Have two years’ experience in office management or one year experience in an Administrative Assistant or Data Entry position, experienced in providing outstanding communication and organization skills.
Rate of Pay: $13.00 to $14.25 Depending on qualifications and experience
