Administrative Services Director plans and directs the operations of an organization's staff and service functions. Oversees various internal service functions that typically include administrative/office, financial operations, facility maintenance/space planning, security, hospitality services, equipment and supply procurement, vendor management, and others. Being an Administrative Services Director monitors capital and operating budget spending. Designs and implements processes and policies that support efficient service delivery and meet the organization's changing needs. Additionally, Administrative Services Director sets departmental performance goals and standards of service. Utilizes data analytics to measure activity and drive continuous improvement. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Administrative Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be an Administrative Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. As an RWHS Director of Perioperative Services, you will:
- Use critical thinking in the application of knowledge and clinical skills to facilitate staff development to achieve appropriate patient outcomes.
- Utilize unit-staffing model as a guideline and adjusts staffing levels based on acuity, census and staff experience. Responsible for final approval of all employee schedules.
- Assists with personnel management including hiring decisions, employee coaching, and corrective actions.
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Graduated from an accredited school of nursing, Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master’s Degree preferred
- Compact or State of Nebraska Registered Nurse License; must have NE license within 90 days of hire.
