Administrative Assistant - Responsible for the processing of all invoices for many Burger King restaurants.
· Process a large volume of invoices while paying close attention to the entity and department.
· Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
· Prioritize invoices as necessary specifically related to cash discount potential and payment terms.
· Reconcile vendor statements, research, and correct discrepancies.
· Respond to vendor inquiries.
· Assist Accounting personnel with month end tasks including upload of various journal entries and consolidated invoices.
· Front desk tasks such as scanning, mail, etc.
· Other various Accounting related projects as requested.
REPORTING
· Accountable to Assistant Controller
QUALIFICATIONS
· Requires 2 plus years of Accounts Payable experience.
· Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook, Sage/MAS a plus.
· Organizational, verbal, and written communication skills a must
· Attention to detail is an asset.
· Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines as required.
