This position exists to support the functions of the Office of the Assistant Superintendent with a focus on homeless education, food service, curriculum, instruction and assessment, and grant management and implementation.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Manage SAU #6 Homeschool education files, communication with families, schools and truant officer, and prepare annual state reports
- Maintain professional library for curriculum, instruction and assessment and homeless education
- Assist the SAU #6 Homeless Liaison and FiT team with student tracking, transportation, reimbursement, ordering, weekly meal verification with Meals Plus software, annual state reporting and other duties as needed
- Conduct purchasing, receiving and distribution for grant funded programs and all curriculum materials and resources and maintain all necessary records
- Complete conference registrations, travel arrangements and transportation needs for our Assistant Superintendent, Curriculum Team, Title I and other district personnel
- Provide organization and refreshments for meetings, professional learning opportunities and community events specified by our Assistant Superintendent and Curriculum Team
- Support Curriculum Council with recording and distribution of minutes
- Complete new personnel forms, semi-annual certifications, time sheets and other related materials for requested curriculum work, administrator mentors and other stipended positions
- Plan and organize employee recognition ceremonies and events
- Secure and distribute materials for student welcome bags, summer take home bags and other student centered engagement initiatives
- General administrative support for the Assistant Superintendent, the Curriculum Team, and other staff supported through grant funding

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND LICENSURE
- Post high school diploma with major in business, accounting, human resources, operations or related field?
OTHER KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Competent with Google, MS Office programs, databases, spreadsheets, and email
- Competent with research practices, data analysis and data management
- Able to independently organize and carry out projects as assigned
- Understands school procedures and policies
- Communicates clearly and positively with all stakeholders
- Understands NH DOE Grant Management System
- Willing to learn
