An organization providing outpatient treatment services in conjunction with Medication Assisted Treatment for individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders is seeking a Business Development Representative in Lexington. The organization is growing and already has many locations in several states that serve individuals with private insurance plans, as well as state or federally funded insurance plans. The goal for this position is to build referral relationships with hospitals, social workers, case managers, other treatment centers, therapists, community organization and other referral sources to increase referrals and admissions in the local market. Candidates will have:
Experience in business development, direct-care, or admissions in mental health/substance abuse, or business development experience from a healthcare-related industry-
An outgoing personality with the willingness to be coached and grow in a new department

Versatility to cold call into new relationships, as well as maintain and cultivate existing relationships

Ability to establish relationships and be comfortable speaking with addiction/mental health treatment centers, hospitals, and churches in a clinical sales process

Ability to market opportunities while developing, planning, implementing and following through with action plans to grow admissions and the overall brand of the treatment center

Ability to exercise professionalism in a manner that reflects a positive image for the organization, as well as the individual candidate, by exhibiting ethics, attention to detail, availability, dependability and a heart of service for those in need of recovery from addiction
Principal Responsibilities:
Work with leadership team and be coached on developing and implementing a strategic plan for creating new business relationships-
Actively prospect, cold call (on the phone and face-to-face) continuously to expand individual's and company's contact list and brand awareness
