Addiction Mental Health Assessor conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patients in Alcohol and Drug (AoD) addiction programs to determine mental health needs and establish care requirements. Provides initial treatment and refers clients to appropriate agencies/providers as needed. Being an Addiction Mental Health Assessor works with patients and families to develop appropriate chemical dependency service plans. Complies with standards in the area of evaluation, assessment, treatment, and service delivery to clients. Additionally, Addiction Mental Health Assessor requires certification as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or similar. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require a state license to practice. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Addiction Mental Health Assessor's years of experience requirement may be unspecified. - Conduct psychotherapy intake assessments to determine patients' mental health needs

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients
```Requirements```
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, or related field (Individuals in the practicum or intern stage of a Master's program will be considered)
- Knowledge of DSM-V and DSM-V-TR diagnostic criteria and various treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines
- Willingness to adhere to clinical documentation requirements
We are a small, but growing private practice looking for individuals to join our dynamic and cohesive team of clinicians. Individuals who are fully licensed (LPC; LCSW) are welcome to apply. Individuals who have their temporary license (PPC; PCSW) are also welcome. We offer supervision services as per the requirements of the Wyoming Mental Health Licensing Board to eligible individuals. We are open to considering individuals who are in the practicum stages of their clinical development as well.
