Addiction Mental Health Assessor conducts initial and ongoing assessments of patients in Alcohol and Drug (AoD) addiction programs to determine mental health needs and establish care requirements. Provides initial treatment and refers clients to appropriate agencies/providers as needed. Being an Addiction Mental Health Assessor works with patients and families to develop appropriate chemical dependency service plans. Complies with standards in the area of evaluation, assessment, treatment, and service delivery to clients. Additionally, Addiction Mental Health Assessor requires certification as a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) or similar. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. May require a state license to practice. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Addiction Mental Health Assessor's years of experience requirement may be unspecified.     We at Fairview Health Services are looking for a dedicated Operations Manager- Mental Health and Addiction Services.  The Operations Manager is accountable for the management of people and business operations across service teams within the Mental Health and Addiction Services. Duties include achieving coordination, consistency and integration within all departments, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and leading and /or participating in internal improvement projects.  The manager is involved in contract and relationship management with business partners, providers, insurance companies, outside entities and customer sites.  

     

    This position is approved for 80 hour every two weeks, and is benefit eligible!     Responsibilities Job Description

    Leads business operations: 

    • Achieve coordination, consistency and integration for all policies and procedures. 
    • Analyzes the work within and between units, departments, and services. 
    • Uses quality improvement tools and techniques to assess work issues and make process improvements. 
    • Uses best practices' information to set stretch goals. 
    • Sets appropriate priorities among challenging demands. 
    • Meets all regulatory requirements. 

      

    Contract Management: 

    • Support and leads business development team with contracted entities in terms of ongoing contract requirements, case specific issues that arise, policies and procedures, contract negotiations, etc. 

     

    Day to Day Operations: 

    • Assists in strategic planning for improvement projects. 
    • Responsible to achieve and report on operational goals for service lines. 
    • Monitors and prioritizes assignments across service lines to assure timely, productive, and efficient use of resources. 
    • Uses creative solutions to resolve problems and keep operations running efficiently. 
    • Prepares reports as needed on Operations production across service lines.  
    • Oversees supervisory staff and ensures appropriate and consistent staffing at supervisory and front-line levels across service lines.  
    • Builds and maintains weekly reports for operations team across service lines.  
    • Identities service line operation issues and accesses appropriate resources to bring resolve.  
    • Maintains solid understanding on current regulatory requirements across service lines. Responsible for training of staff and adherence of process to meet all regulatory requirements.  

     

    Leads people: 

    • Provides leadership, training and direction to team members.  
    • Actively recruits and hires great people to build a diverse and complementary team. 
    • Creates and maintains a communication system to assure all employees have relevant, timely, and appropriate information. 
    • Conducts fair, accurate and timely performance reviews. 
    • Discovers the aspirations and talents of employees and assists them in realizing their goals. 
    • Improves overall employee satisfaction results. 

    Qualifications

    Required 

    • Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Business Administration
    • 3 years supervisory or management experience  

    Preferred 

      

    • 5 years supervisory or management experience 
    • Mental health license
