MiddCORE is Middlebury's suite of experiential learning programs that build skills, create opportunities, and expand networks for tomorrow's leaders and innovators. Since 2008, this multidisciplinary program has collaborated with professionals from all industries to bring specialized knowledge to each MiddCORE session. Through the winter term course or The LAB, MiddCORE students engage with distinguished mentors to apply classroom-gained knowledge to real-world challenges, develop critical life skills, reflect on values, and experience working alongside top brands and industry leaders.

The MiddCORE programs are designed to improve creative confidence and professional competence, connect Middlebury students from all disciplines and backgrounds, and challenge students to learn by doing.

The MiddCORE Summer Lab is looking for a team of Fellows to lead our new community activation, industry-specific Slack Channels.

Our Ask of LAB Fellows:

• A 1-hour/week time commitment throughout the summer months.
• Synchronous availability on targeted dates.
• Lead a Slack Channel in your respective field, offering a "Demystifying the Industry" Guide in collaboration with a co-lead.
• Availability for two "Virtual Coffee Chats"- a call/meeting with interested students throughout the summer (on your time!)

What The MiddCORE Team will provide:

• Facilitation Guides to assist you in leading all Zoom sessions.
• Support coordinating and/or planning virtual coffee chats (we ask that you please provide a calendly link.)
• Reimbursement for any in-person meetups (optional, upon request!)
