In addition to the direct support care, all staff are required to help provide transportation to-and-from our location. Transportation is provided in small-transit vehicles and/or mini-vans. Driving these vehicles requires no special training or license. Our transportation routes are typically under an hour and very routine.

Job Description – Activity Specialist (DSP)
Position Summary: Organize, execute and assist consumers with daily activities. Ensure that individuals are involved in activities throughout the day and assist individuals with these activities. This includes but is not limited to: art and craft activities, action plans/outcome goals(on a daily basis and assure the frequency for each individual is met), vocational trainings, restroom assistance if needed and daily paperwork documentation assigned by management. Cooperate with supervisor’s requests to perform tasks that may not be listed as standard duties. Job duties and schedules will vary and change. Ensure and assist individuals in participant- direction, making their own choices and providing person-centered supports. Employees are expected to be flexible and cooperate with the needs of SPARK.
