Activity Aide - Nursing Home jobs in San Antonio, TX

Duties:

- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron laundry items according to hotel standards
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect and remove stains from garments as needed
- Ensure proper handling and care of delicate fabrics
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment when needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a hotel or dry cleaning setting is preferred
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of different fabric types and their appropriate care methods
- Attention to detail in sorting and inspecting laundry items
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy laundry bags
