    Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as an Activity Aide. An Aide role is to provide quality case management and psychotherapeutic services to Spring Mountain’s populations, to serve as a member of multi-disciplinary team supporting the hospital’s treatment program and philosophy and assure the deliverance of quality treatment to patients and their family members, and to provide social histories, discharge planning, case management and psycho-educational groups to age-specific populations. Plans, implements, and evaluates, activity therapy programs. Implements general recreation activities. Completes all activity therapy programming, assessment, treatment planning, implementation, evaluation, to discharge planning, as assigned. They present good communication and observation skills as well as the ability to accurately process and document information.

    Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs.

    Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting.     Qualifications:
    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    Minimum High School diploma. Experience assisting with recreation activities, or focus groups.

    Minimum of one year experience working in a psychiatric facility.

    Knowledge and experience in arts, sports, and general recreation activities. Ability to modify activity according to client participation and/or disability.

    Knowledge and experience with behavior management procedures. Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations, and Policy & Procedures.
