In conjunction with the activities director, the activities aide will help plan and organize day to day activities for residents within the facility. They will maintain an on-going program of activities designed to meet the physical, mental, and psychological needs and recreational interests of each resident. In addition, a primary responsibility will be to shuttle residents in RMH’s bus to various appointments and activities. As a CNA, under general supervision of a licensed Nurse or Provider, the CNA assists in the delivery of patient/resident care. Works collaboratively with the Provider, RN, and the LPN to meet the physical, psychosocial, educational, and spiritual needs of the patient/resident and family. In addition, a primary responsibility will be to shuttle residents in RMH’s bus to various appointments and activities.
· High school diploma or its equivalent, preferred.
· Successful completion of a formal nurse aide training course of at least 75 hours in length, preferred and active Montana License
· Current Montana Drivers License with the ability to be insured to operate company vehicles.
· BLS/CPR Certification or ability to obtain within a month of hire and will remain current throughout employment tenure.
· Equivalent combination of education and experience as it reflects to the above tasks, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
