Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding operations in the accounts receivable function of an organization. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Receivable Supervisor monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls. Generates reports to bring insight into collections, account ages, and other relevant metrics and relays conclusions to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Accounts Receivable Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We are looking for a self-motivated applicant who likes working in different areas of the business, such as performing reception duties, accounts payable, accounts receivable and other general office duties.
In this position you will assist and perform duties in the Front Office. The successful candidate will process accounts receivable, discuss outstanding balances, etc. with customers or process accounts payable, ensuring the accuracy of payments made to vendors. Additional office duties will be performed such as answering multiple phone lines, greet walk-in traffic, dispatch repair and product requests. The position is in Terre Haute, Indiana. This position requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 to 2 years of accounting, accounts receivable, or accounts payable work experience. This position is ideal for motivated individuals who are seeking a full time Monday – Friday day shift position with health benefits, a 401(k) and paid time off.
