Accounts Receivable Supervisor jobs in Jacksonville, NC

• Responsible for daily Accounts Receivable data entry and billing.
• Responsible for verification and reconciliation of Census on a daily basis.
• Reviews all patient files as discharged to ensure they include appropriate documentation, securing all loose papers and accurate recording of Revenues and related adjustments (facility and professional).
• Processes all mail and related correspondence within 24 hours of receipt.
• Understands third party reimbursement, billing requirements, insurance verifications, and collections.

Requirements:

• High school graduate/GED required. College degree in finance preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years’ business office experience.
• Previous experience in a business office within a hospital environment preferred.
• Previous experience in a business office within a substance abuse and/or psychiatric hospital preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Accurately posts payments to patient accounts daily.
• Completes adjustments accurately based on payments and information received
• Processes all mail and related correspondence within 72 hours of receipt.
