The Grand Healthcare System is actively seeking an Accounts Receivable Supervisor for our Corporate Office in Valley Stream, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the preparation and sending of invoices.
• Improves processes and procedures relating to the successful use and presentment of invoices through the various third-party billing portals .
• Learns, implement, and maintain uniform procedures and practices to ensure consistency and enhanced customer satisfaction regarding billing and problem resolution.
• Integrates and assists with maintenance and entry of electronic billing customer invoices submitted through various proprietary invoicing portals.
• Inquires, researches, and resolves issues related to rejected invoices
• Proactively interface and communicate with internal and external customers on an ongoing and regular basis to resolve issues related to invoicing.
• Implements and trains of new and existing portal team members.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years in general/project management
• Knowledge of electronic billing through various invoicing portals required is a plus.
• Detailed understanding of invoices, statements of account, customer purchase orders, accounts payable/receivable and various forms of payment remittances.
• Proficient research and investigation skills.
• Problem solving, analytical, technical planning and organization skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Strong self- management, high attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
