Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding operations in the accounts receivable function of an organization. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Receivable Supervisor monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls. Generates reports to bring insight into collections, account ages, and other relevant metrics and relays conclusions to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Accounts Receivable Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. We have an opening for a Full-Time Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable – Specialist in our North Brunswick office. In this role, the AP/AR Specialist plays an integral part in the finance department by processing check requests from various vendors and recording cash receipts in the form of checks and ACH on a timely basis. The successful candidate is proactive, attentive to detail, able to multi-task and take direction.
Qualifications:
2 years’ experience in AP/AR with High School Diploma or equivalent OR
1 years’ experience in AP/AR with associate degree in accounting or related discipline OR
Recent grad with a bachelor’s degree in accounting
