Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding operations in the accounts receivable function of an organization. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Receivable Supervisor monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls. Generates reports to bring insight into collections, account ages, and other relevant metrics and relays conclusions to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. About the role:
As an Accounts Receivable Representative at OpenRoad Transportation, Inc. (ORT), you will be responsible for accurately receiving and applying payments and credits to the correct customer account and invoice. You will also provide top-notch customer service to internal and external customers. This position requires attention to detail, great customer service, and a drive for success. Duties include receiving payment and posting amount to customer's account; preparing statements to credit department if customer fails to respond; and keeping records of collection and status of accounts.
