Accounts Receivable Supervisor jobs in Cheyenne, WY
Accounts Receivable Supervisor is responsible for supervising and guiding operations in the accounts receivable function of an organization. Maintains and reconciles accounts receivable ledger to ensure accurate and timely receipt of payments. Being an Accounts Receivable Supervisor monitors collection period and sends follow-up inquiries regarding payments for the organization. Negotiates with past-due accounts to resolve all payment issues in a timely manner. Additionally, Accounts Receivable Supervisor implements standard operating procedures to ensure compliance with internal accounting policies and controls. Generates reports to bring insight into collections, account ages, and other relevant metrics and relays conclusions to management. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be an Accounts Receivable Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. - Coordinate with Director of Marketing/Sales, Sales Admin and Sales Staff
- Contacting customer representatives for payment commitments
- Cash receipt application and processing
- Process customer credit references and info upon written request
- Bank Deposit preparation
- Computer Data Entry and filing
- Process monthly statements and reports for management
- Customer account maintenance
- Must coordinate with CFO for decisions regarding customer account status
- Credit card processing
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of computers, word processing, spread sheet applications (Excel) and email
- Good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills required
- Knowledge in office procedures and equipment
