Accounts Receivable Manager - Hybrid
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $130k - $150k. In addition to a competitive market-based salary, Sciton provides an opportunity to participate in equity/stock incentive programs, a profit-sharing bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package, including 401K with matching.
Sciton Inc. is looking for an energetic Accounts Receivable Manager to join our rapidly growing Finance/Accounting team. S/He will be responsible for effective, accurate, and efficient handling of all aspects of accounts receivable.
Our desired candidate lives in the Bay Area.
In this role you will:
- Oversee the accounts receivable functions of the company and work closely with the operations team to generate invoices while ensuring accuracy and timeliness of the invoicing process.
- Monitor A/R Aging, credit policy and work closely with clients to ensure that accounts are paid on a timely basis.
- High level of customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Manage the collection process by ensuring invoice accuracy, timely follow ups with clients on inquiries or questions on invoices, verifies account balances when necessary, and communicates expectations of payment terms and timing
- Support monthly AR closing and producing applicable reports
- Oversee design and implementation of a centralized accounts receivable system
- Maintaining a close working relationship with operations managers, corporate accounting team, and senior leadership.
- Monthly account reconciliations.
- Establish reporting and KPI/Metric tracking for management distribution
- Develop and manage Accounts Receivable policies and related internal controls
- Flexibility to execute, adapt, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment at a high growth company
- Manage, coach, and mentor the AR team, facilitating their growth and development
- Work on special projects when assigned by management
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
- 7 years of Account Receivable and people management experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Proven aptitude for systems; advanced Excel skills required
- Experience with Infor Syteline or similar enterprise reporting systems preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-starter who continuously strives to get things done and thrives on working through challenges
