Position Overview:

The Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the financial transactions of our organization, ensuring accurate recording and processing of funds received and disbursed. This position involves meticulous auditing to verify the correctness of invoices and adherence to established accounting protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain General Ledgers with precision and accuracy.
• Record and reconcile customer payments promptly.
• Facilitate the reconciliation of daily receipts.
• Undertake general administrative tasks.
• Update QuickBooks classifications for entries.
• File and organize accounting documents to preserve financial records.
• Secure revenue by validating transaction details, computing charges, and issuing invoices.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies efficiently.
• Process invoices and disbursements, ensuring proper authorization.
• Handle credit card payments and credits proficiently.
• Prepare manual deposits on a weekly basis.
• Generate weekly reports for review by accountants.
• Resolve account discrepancies by conducting thorough investigations and implementing necessary adjustments.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Eagerness to learn new software programs and proficiency in data analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial transactions.
• Strong organizational abilities with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
• Essential experience with QuickBooks to manage accounting tasks efficiently, including but not limited to:
• Recording and categorizing transactions accurately.
• Generating financial reports and summaries.
• Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Managing vendor and customer profiles.
• Utilizing QuickBooks features for efficient financial management and analysis.
