Here’s the Role:
As an AP and AR manager at Reingold, you’ll be supporting our consulting firm’s social-impact work for nonprofit, government, and business clients across the country.
Here are the regular job duties:
Manage and oversee accounts payable to ensure timely processing and payment.
Oversee corporate credit card reconciliation and issue physical and virtual cards to employees for internal and project-specific expenses.
Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations.
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
Process client invoices and coordinate with project teams on contract billing.
Lead collection efforts on past-due invoices.
Manage annual 1099 preparation and reporting.
Supervise the AP specialist.
Support implementation of a new travel and expense management system.
Document various AP and AR processes for employee and department reference.
Serve as the point of contact for internal and external AP and AR inquiries.
Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
At least five years of experience working in accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Previous experience in a supervisor or manager role.
A bachelor’s or associate degree in accounting, business, or a similar field, or comparable experience.
Proficiency in generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Strong problem-solving skills, dependability, and ability to manage competing priorities.
A proven track record working in a hybrid environment.
Experience working with federal contracts and familiarity with the Federal Travel Regulation is preferred.
Experience with Sage Intacct is also a plus.
