We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Accounts Receivable Manager to lead and direct our accounts receivable team. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of streamlining AR processes, maximizing collections, and building strong team leadership. This position takes full ownership of all accounts receivable processes while proactively improving performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversight and Leadership:
• Manage and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, fostering a culture of accuracy, performance, and accountability.
• Set clear performance goals, provide regular feedback, and support team development.
• Regularly review AR processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and optimize cash flow.
• Establish and enforce collections policies that align with company guidelines and best practices.
• Accounts Receivable Management:
• Ensure accurate and timely generation and distribution of customer invoices.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
• Oversee all collection efforts, including customer communications, payment negotiations, and resolving payment disputes.
• Analyze customer accounts, proactively identify and rectify potential late payments or risk factors.
• Implement effective processes to minimize bad debt and maintain healthy DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) metrics.
• Process Improvement and Metrics:
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of AR procedures, policies, and controls.
• Develop and track key AR metrics and reports to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure seamless integration of AR activities with broader financial processes.
• Stay up-to-date on evolving AR best practices, industry standards, and legal/regulatory requirements.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Develop strong relationships with the sales team to proactively address potential credit and collection issues with new or existing customers.
• Partner with internal departments, as needed, to resolve customer billing inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable functions, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable best practices
• Proven ability to analyze financial data identify trends and make proactive recommendations.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to set priorities, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience leading process improvement initiatives.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
